This weekend's meet is at the new natatorium in New Caney (next to the big football/soccer stadium).  It is a really nice and they are really STRICT about everything.  So lets all work together to make this a great meet. Please read the email from EMC below for more details.

**Very Important - Savannah still needs volunteers for this meet. Sign ups are available online until 5pm on Friday or you can sign up with her in person.  You can also call or text her at 702-275-0847.  Also, if your swimmer is missing ribbons from the tri-meet, please let Savannah know. She will be working on getting those together and it would be helpful for everyone to double check.

Welcome to EMC EELS Swim Team! We are so excited to share our first year with you. I wanted to reach out and share some information about our facility. We are swimming out of the New Caney ISD Natatorium, so the setup will be unlike normal neighborhood pool dual meets.

Parents are to park on the visitor side of the natatorium, which is the side behind the Burlington Coat Factory strip of stores on 59N.

Parent set up will be outside in the courtyard area. No tents are allowed on the artificial turf. Parents can come in and see their swimmer in the spectator section upstairs. It’s a great view!

Please we ask that there are no wet swimmers in the stands for safety reasons. Also once your swimmer has swam we ask they dry off well before entering back into the Natatorium to the concessions area or the balcony bleachers. The floor gets extremely wet and becomes a hazard.

All swimmers will have to rinse off in the on-deck rinse area prior to getting in the pool. Being an indoor pool the temperature is set at 80 degrees at all times, this cannot be changed. We will use the regular high school diving blocks, but young swimmers may want to start on deck. Swimmers will enter via the doors on the right side of the Natatorium, and exit through the left back into the courtyard. Timers will stay in one spot, swimmers doing 25 yard events will start from the bulkhead in the center, which is non-skid.

Please help us respect the property by making sure swimmers do not get in the landscaping or fountain and ensure everyone picks up after themselves.

Absolutely NO BALLS are allowed because there are lights over then courtyard, and windows around.
