SETUP INFO

Greentree Riverchase Gators swimmers and families will set up in the area denoted on the overlay of the facilities below in the green circled areas, Please note - Due to team size, there is no set up inside the fenced-in pool area for any families or other spectators. This applies to both the Greentree Riverchase Gators and the Sea Lions. We will have two parking spots reserved for our team reps vehicles directly next to where we will set up. These spaces are located adjacent to the basketball court on Falling Brook Drive. All other parking should be at Greentree Elementary School as outlined below. 

Parking

As mentioned above, parking is available at Greentree Elementary School, which is located just West of the pool on Brook Shadow Drive, near West Lake Houston Parkway - two blocks away from the pool complex. It is just a short walk down the green belt trail to the pool. We will have "No Parking" signs placed on the streets adjacent to the pool to clearly mark where families cannot park. They have found out the hard way they are unable to get emergency vehicles down the street if families park on both sides of the street. Please know there will be two HPD officers on bikes writing tickets with the option to tow cars at their discretion if they are parked in areas where the signs are placed. Greentree Riverchase Gators cannot be held responsible for vehicles that are towed and/or damaged. 

Handicapped Parking

There is a handicapped parking area in front of the clubhouse as denoted on the overlay of the facilities. These spots are reserved for handicapped family members/guests, and the handicapped parking area is not a drop off zone. 

Meet Logistics

We will enter and exit the swimmers per the map . Ready Benches are meant for swimmers and swimmers only. Family members and/or other swimmers not swimming in the seated events should not linger in the ready bench area. 

Time Drops

We will use their electronic timing system, Time Drops. This reduces the necessary timers from 3 to 2. The 2 timers will have stopwatches and the Time Drop buttons. The scribe will also have a Time Drop button to use. The stopwatch times will only be used as back-up if there is an issue with the Time Drops system. Parents can view the live timing on the Time Drops Live app available in the Apple and Android app stores. The meet code will be provided Saturday morning before the meet starts.

 8:10am - Timer & Scribes Volunteer Meeting on the Pool Deck 

 8:15am - First and Final Call for Events 1-4 

 8:25am - First and Final Call for Events 5-6 

 8:25am - National Anthem 

 8:30am - Meet Begins

Concessions

We have a full breakfast and lunch setup. Please find our menu below. 

GTR is cashless, and only accepts credit/debit cards and Apple/Google/Samsung Pay as forms of payment. All these listed forms of payment will be accepted at the concessions window and merchandise table. Please plan accordingly, especially those that have younger swimmers as we will have non-candy options for breakfast and lunch.

REMINDERS

No photography or digital recording is allowed in the restricted area behind the starting blocks. Violation may result in expulsion from the meet at the discretion of the meet referee. This is for the privacy and protection of our swimmers while they are in a vulnerable position.

Please clean up after your family before leaving. We want to leave our hosting pools better than when we got there!

What to bring to the meet:

-Swimsuit - Goggles - Swim cap (optional) -Towels -Sunscreen and Bug Spray - Waters -Snacks -Swimmers Ear -

-Lawn chairs and Canopies - Designated area ONLY - NO setup around the pool.
